Love him! He's got such wonderful colour and his condition looks fabulous! How old is he?

Canadian Buckeye thank you,he is in the neighborhood of 25 weeks old. Very friendly bird.

So I feel he earned the right to stay out of the frying pan.lol

He's the same age as my rooster was but yours is clearly a better bird, much broader in the back. I still miss my guy though. I hope your rooster appreciates what you've done for him

I have two. He is the larger of them and has a more dominant personality. I'm going to try using him over some white broiler hens of the slow grow variety. I want a white LF Cornish type bird so bad it makes me crazy!!lol

Hey JRNash how old is he? How did your MMH birds grow out? I know they're slow growing but mine seem to be taking forever for being hatchery q. Smaller than a regular size hen at 6 mo old. They got the muscle but no big frame to go with it. Pullets from the order are even smaller.

they grew at a decent rate. this guy is a 1/4 larger than his hatch mate.The pulleys are extremely light weight in my opinion. They remind me of leghorns.Just look light weight.

I've been looking at REAL birds. I won't be wasting anymore time and money on hatchery stock. Broilers and egg layers yes. Nothing else.
