I can't keep roosters in my area, else I would have kept him and that's why I bought a warranted girl. Him finding a new home and not the pot was the best possible outcome.

Just a quick update, in case someone goes though this at some point: Van turned out to be a boy and had to be rehomed.... Here are a couple of photos I got from him, now that he is almost fully grown, there are no doubts that he is a boy
