Our Coronation Juveniles are looking great as they mature.
My youngsters are lovely.
And daddy George is always close by.
Beautiful, as gorgeous as the Coronations are I don't see how they are not more popular than they are, great size bird, great size eggs and great layers.
Most people that visit our farm have never seen or heard of them before. But people quickly fall for them. I have had great fertility rates, they are inquisitive , friendly and of course very gentle on the eye. I can only imagine that availability in the states must play some part.
Same thoughts here, people do love them when they see them here also.
chick color just hatched 5 coronation Sussex chicks and 3 are light color and 2 are distinctively darker. is this normal with coronation Sussex chicks ? my son just broke our camera taking a picture of our cat so I cannot post photos at this time.
Mine are all yellow, some have darker yellow smudging.
Photos would help, if you can work it out.
Here are my new chicks with surrogate mum, Priscilla the silkie.
Thought I would share a few pics. We have a trio of unrelated Greenfire Farms breeders.
