Thanks we use that with most of our ads, it was a nice early spring day and we took all the chicks out of the brooders and let them play in the yard.

I have one little chick being mothered by 2 hens ATM, I will get some pics of them today.
The demand for fertile eggs was so high that I almost didn't hatch any for myself.
Big mistake. I've had a couple of young verily roos drop dead on me. Hope that doesn't happen to King George , cause he's a real character. But it's always a good idea to keep a spare roo.

Love the last picture. Ours have been really healthy. I was raising to pair to be able to sell this spring but unfortunately one the Cockerels hurt his foot and we attepted surgery got the infection out but didnt find anything. So he will not be sold but used for the second part of dual purpose. When we got them we were looking forward to eating a few extra roosters but we have yet to have one extra.

Of the 3 that I hatched ,2 are pullets and the last is still too young, I sold a heap of eggs to a fellow down the road, he may have a spare cockerel. Bens hens will find this conversation ironic.
