Gorgeous pic Keesmom! I am goint to try and candle tonight! I just set 22 coro eggs on Sunday! I can't wait for these guys to hatch!

How well do they lay? I am thinking of keeping one or two roosters and 6 hens to be safe. I want enough eggs to eat, and also some to hatch. I know two roos is a lot for 6/7 hens but I heard they are very docile and want a "back up roo".

I run 4 hens per roo. Mainly because broody back ups needed

Mine moult in late autumn and lots of protein helps it to occur and be over quickly. 7 weeks
