My older Recessive Sussex pullet (now a hen lol) just started laying in november, just started getting her first eggs...then when the daylight hours got less, she quit on me too. Now we are under snow here... also on strike with all my birds. Sigh!!! I didnt even get a chance to gather fertile eggs from her with the new coronation roo i got for her.
By the time i waited the 2 wks to get eggs from the new roo, she quit. Darnit!!!
