Cannot exactly go looking for a job right now either.

No I don't get why so many people keep publicly harping on you either.

I've said that EXACT last sentence to @KDOGG331 months ago and I don't get it either. I try to encourage and support not tear down or criticize.

She's a really good person with a very good heart. It's her life to do as she pleases.

targeting, misunderstanding, feeling targeted, ignored, left out, kissing your chickens, etc. Sounds like we are getting "so over" being locked up.

Think things will get even worse before it gets better. I try to understand people's moods especially at this time but sometimes I want to so I leave until I'm good.

The way I understand it she was unknowingly spreading it while working in peoples kitchens. Once it was traced down to her she was sent off to a hospital on an island and spent the rest of her life (30 some odd years) in isolation.

When it was eventually discovered and she wouldn't quit being a cook and get tested she was locked up. Eventually released and ordered not to seek employment again as a cook she changed her name and continued. Eventually she was locked up again and not released.
That how I heard it. Considering the time and how things were done back then seems she got lucky that's all that happened to her.

Anybody else planning to stay in well past the "Sure, we can open back up!" orders? With the damage some bull-headed fools are doing by ignoring today's restrictions (or circumventing them the best way they can,) I am truly afraid of what a poorly timed, over-enthusiastic reopening will cause. According to what I've found, the Spanish Flu killed - literally - ten times as many people during the second wave as it did during the first.

I kissed one of my chicks and the next day I was really ill. I thought I got salmonella come to find out I had sepsis and pneumonia. I even told the ER I kissed my chick they about peed laughing because they know me well.

I am hoping tonight I am not paged to the coop.

Last night at 2:30am my hens requested my presence immediately.
They were complaining about the heat lamp for the ducklings....and that the ducklings weren't even using it. I unplugged it and Rudy settled down.
The ducklings are doing great and don't seem to miss the light at all.

Rudy is pretty adamant about needing me if something is bugging her. Yes it wakes me up.

Seems like she never could actually believe she was responsible.
