I'm just ignoring it and trying to find out how peeps are on BYC. It's been going on for days and many have left this thread because of it. Even certain messages have been deleted and still... Nothing has stopped it.

How are you doing through all of this?
Thank you for asking. Like many here I'm hanging in. We are not in the age group for at risk, however we have medical conditions that put all of us in the at risk category, especially my teenager. Overall I'd say we live in a more forward thinking state but our local area had been very blase and dragging their feet.
So last week, a few days ahead of school closures, I pulled my kiddo out of school because the risk was just too high. Of course I was met with the "crazy mom" looks but kiddo is safe and all of us are tucking in to wait things out.

Also, like many we have plenty of eggs. Yep...plenty of those.
And having been a gardener the last fifteen years we are never short of something to eat. Unfortunately I did NOT stock up on chocolate. :hit
SMH...in all the variations that have been expressed here, plus a new one ....DOH!!😦

Precisely my point. Each person needs to take responsibility for his/her OWN actions. Just because "so and so did it" doesn't cut it. Often in life I have observed that those who are the first to point a finger are also one of the firsts to join in on stirring a pot.

I have also observed that it takes two to argue.

If you go back and reread my post I didn't counter with my political view, or find fault with hers. I simply pointed out her bias and asked her to stop slipping it into her posts to try to evangelize us to her views.

Yesterday at my store the Oreo aisle was empty. It's a good time to conquer that vice of mine, lol.

Good for you, FortCluck! I just put notes in my neighbors' mailboxes reminding them I may have eggs if they need them.

I only have 9 hens so I doubt I could take care of more than my immediate neighbors but we certainly have more than our own needs and my kids live in the same city but too far to bother driving out for just eggs.
I'd love to "share" too but my neighbors are afraid of "yard eggs", even though they are gathered every morning. I hope I don't have to waste any of them but there are way too many for my immediate family to consume and not enough to sell. WOW, what to do???

Have coworkers or anyone like that? How about dogs?

I give my extra eggs to the dogs, chickens, and ducks. I scramble about 20 of them.

I don't get why people would be afraid of eggs 🙈

I have one of these sorts of things for my small local on foot shopping forays. Today I loaded it into my car and I am using it now as a shopping cart. No more need for alcohol wipes or sanitizer. I only touch something that I alone handle.
