*sigh* We picked up some older TSC chicks yesterday for $0.50 each yesterday. They're COVERED in mites. Gonna have to treat them and the whole space they were in. Tbh might as well just hit the whole damn flock while I'm at it. :T It's not like I can buy a small container of permethrin....
I guess 50 cents not so much of a bargain when you gotta do all that.😬 But I'm sure the little chickies will appreciate it!😘

Thanks a lot, @electrycmonk , just more good news in 2020...

Actually it *is* good news to see the multiple medium shakes happening around the globe. When things get quiet *Thats* when I get worried (as do seismic scientists ). as long as there is a constant slight shake and shimmy then we don't really have to worry about Mother Nature getting into a mood for some serious Headbangin' Thrashin' mosh pit activites.

G is feeling better and has had no fever unmedicated for 12 hours. So he decided to go play with the little dog while I was working on the chickens (play is throw a tennis ball in the front yard).

He left half his dinner sandwich at dog level. And by "half his sandwich" I mean half of a 14" long nearly 2lb sub sandwich covered in onions.

We're now cheerfully shoving peroxide down the big dogs throats until one of them pukes up the sandwichy goods. Joy of joys.
