Not at all. You wore a mask and stayed home but still contracted the virus. Why? Because you were still around someone that was already infected. See how silly that actually is? If you couldn’t keep from getting it while following the guidelines as best you could you still couldn’t prevent it? Again it was stated by our state health commissioner we would all be exposed regardless of precautions. The proof is in the pudding and it’s all over the news. You can spin it any way you want to fit your beliefs but that doesn’t make it true.

I'm hoping they will be! We're doing the ones for sinus clearing... It's regular flu season too after all and even if regular flu counts are WAY down this year due to masks, they're still handy to have. Plus a ton of people with allergies so they should be nice.

Ours will have teatree, camphor, peppermint and lavender.

You can still die in a crash if you’re wearing a seatbelt. That doesn’t make seatbelts useless.

I never said masks were useless. I wear a mask every day. You may need to go back and read too. I merely said this person wore a mask and still got sick. That’s along with all the other precautions that didn’t help. My point is it’s not practical to expect over 330 million people to act just as you or anyone else does.

I literally am out of ways to say that just because something is not 100% effective doesn't mean that you should not exercise any caution at all.


Actually, one just came to me, condoms are not 100% effective, but people still use them? Obviously not as effectively as they should, but we don't argue that nobody should use condoms because what's the point?

And wearing a mask below the nose/improperly is like using a raincoat with a hole in it. (I didn’t want BYC to take this down )

I literally am out of ways to say that just because something is not 100% effective doesn't mean that you should not exercise any caution at all.

Personally, I've run out of ways to say that if someone tries to piss on you and they're wearing pants you get less piss on you than if only you are wearing pants. Them wearing pants is WAY more important than YOU wearing pants.
It's just beyond some folks comprehension that someone else's actions could hurt me somehow and I will never understand that. Like if someone drives without a license proving they can operate a vehicle safely they have a much higher chance of hurting me. So now they get punished for it and the VAST majority of drivers are licensed. Heck seatbelts don't hurt anyone but the driver but we all know Click it or Ticket and compliance is higher as a result. But if we require masks and punish people for not having them it won't work? Idk. I'm starting to think some people can't comprehend what a law IS...

I’m also out of ways to say those less than 100% effective measures are killing the economy.
Facts: cases still rising, masks and lockdowns have already happened and implementing more of the same will most likely do more harm than good.
I never said nobody should wear a mask? I said they have no proof they’re helping. You guys are hung up on the mask thing.

I understand that. It’s kinda stupid but it just shows that those people don’t want to wear a mask. For anyone to think you’re gonna get everyone to wear one properly is out of their mind.
