Yeah, over half our retirement fund is gone from the stock market crash. My husband finally stopped telling me how many thousand we are are losing daily. He knows I have anxiety and depression. Everyone says, oh well, it will come back. Maybe, but who knows when?

I hear ya, CapricornFarm! We've taken a bath too and I'm retired and my husband will be in 2 years so we won't have time to recover. Our one silver lining is that our broker suggested moving some of it into bonds about a year ago. That, at least, has been safe.

Mostly, I reason that whatever we're going through -- both now and in the future -- we'll go through with everyone else. So things may be harder. They may be new. But there will be solutions because the need will be that great.

Anyone else getting sick of this lockdown 🐂💩

Believe it or not, I am not an extremely social person and only go to town on my own perhaps once a week. The Princess and I do eat out a lot, so that is a change. Funny that being told that we have to do it grates a bit, but I completely get it.

@bruceha2000 'common sense is an uncommon quality'. What you see happening is exactly what Cuomo predicted would happen once NYC shut down.

I don't know what they predicted I have been barely able to use my phone. That's the only internet I have right now.

I have a Political and negative comment on tv- rant.

Always always know that even if you think someone is an idiot, they do want to solve this just like we do. It's up to the public to weed out the BS.

I have seen all channels have been offering top notch advice that originates with health care experts. That's the way it should be. Media people sometimes say stupid things but they are only people and do really seek the same results we do.

If only the population during the Plague a few hundred years ago knew how to isolate- the Plague killed 1/3 or more or 2/3 (???) of Europe . They were collecting bodies in the streets. It was rats spreading infected fleas! Horrible. The same thing with small pox in the 14-1500's. A big epidemic that caused death or pock marks left on the face. They did do some isolation, somewhat. But even Queen Elizabeth 1 got small pox.

Dr Fauci seems to be the representative for all those involved. Dr. Fauci is being interviewed on "Levin" at 8pm Sunday on Fox. It's great to have the opportunity to hear more about Dr. Fauci and the virus. This is not about Fox, it's about learning more about Dr. Fauci.- which is someone I like to hear about- wherever.

NYC seems to be the worst of the worst, God help them.

When I hear questionable speaking or someone saying another is negative, it really deserves an investigation. This emergency is not about people criticizing people . IT'S ABOUT sharing information that helps us. The TV and media and journalists have a duty to give us unadulterated information, not distorted words that get attention. How dare they!!! It's like some of them becoming like the "Enquirer" and the public reading all those headlines at the grocery checkout . IMO

Another rant.

I do all of this already. I've pretty much been in quarantine for over 2 months some of the was in the hospital.

I've been in constant watch for my health for over 10 years that's 5+ Dr visits a month usually for the last 10 years. I can't count how many times I've been hospitalized in those 10 years, but I would say probably a good 3 to 4 years of that has been lived in the hospital.

I know this isolation is needed to keep me safe because there is no other option for me besides dying if I catch this and I will be intubated. That has been expressed to me numerous of times from all of my specialists.

I'm just trying to take every day One day at a time, but today has been quite an emotional rollercoaster for me.

My life used to be fun going to TSC if it's the most I could do. But now it's all been taken away. I feel ripped off at this point.

I went shopping online and it made me happy again. Got 13,500 seeds all heirloom non GMO and organic 😁 plus a harris farm two seater nesting box. My chickens will benefit more than me from this shopping trip.

I hope things get better for you. You're a strong person and you can whip this!

Cuomo predicted that a NYC shutdown would result in an exodus of folks to other localities - vacation homes, relatives, etc. Needless to say this may/will very likely result in further spread of the disease.
