The site LIES! It says that none of the appetizers listed will leave you feeling full. Obviously, SOMEONE has not bothered to consume the entire box in one sitting, before. For SHAME ... and they call themselves innovative experts. =..

Oh - and they left out microwave popcorn. An entire bag of popcorn with a tall glass of chocolate milk is THE BOMB ... amateurs!
So, I wonder how a mixture of....say... mini marshmallows, raisins, rice krispies, and a crushed up granola bar might rate on their list? Not that I would know how filling such a tasty mix might be....

I want some Oreos for dinner but not double stuffed ones.

It's not my rule ... It's BYC's .. and violating it makes a lot of people turn away. Again, there are places to discuss these things ... but not here! This is a place of consolation, comfort and support. Evangelizing politics belongs somewhere else entirely.

I'm certain that if there were something violating the rules it would be taken down.

In fact, I know so. I've seen things taken down in this thread already.

Hey can I get you guys to chime in on something?

I don’t have any of the paper n95 type masks, and I don’t have full confidence in the home made cloth ones, but I do have a proper respirator mask, (covers lower half of face), that I wear almost daily....I’m just a little shy to go out wearing that in public!

So my question is this: would it still be considered “cultural appropriation” at this time if I wrapped up in a scarf sort of thing to cover my mask and preserve my dignity?

What is your source of info?

Stay safe my friend and hope this strain doesnt cross to our poultry. Its mutated tondifferent strains in humans already and is thought to have derived from bats or mutated from a coronavirus in bats. Lets hope it doesnt mutate to group 3 coronavirus which chickens can catch. I quarantined my silkies today from everyone else.

MROO, please understand that by saying it "can't be political" that prevents many of us from speaking, sharing our experiences, or relieving our strain through communication.

Would it be political if you asked me how I was doing, and I was Asian, and I described how people were yelling racist things at me? (I'm not but I know people in this very scenario.)
I have to think about how hospital bills, rent, food, etc. will be paid for if someone in my family or my circle gets sick. I have to watch what our state and federal government is going to do to alleviate that burden like a hawk and plan accordingly. Is that political?
I have to think about how mental health services are somehow being considered "non essential" in some places and may be unavailable to me or people I love. Is that political?
I have to think about how elderly care is not being well considered for people like my father who need in home care. Is that political?
I have to think hard about how each governor is reacting to the situation and what will/won't be in effect in Ohio. Is that political?

The ability to speak about your experience with COVID in any depth and have it be non-political is something that not everybody has.

By demanding something be non-political we silence a lot of voices in need. I'm sure that as long as it's kept civil and facts-based it should be fine.

I do whine about the BYC rules. But like some others I've been a member for 12.5 years and I am just sharing what I feel I've learned at that time. IMO
We really can't avoid the politics related to the virus. IMO

. I think those who run this site mean do not get into arguments about what Politician is doing more than another. Or what one is better than the other , or who's smarter.IMO
I think we're doing a great job IMO.

If I offend someone, please say so then I can edit or delete my post.

I'll be sure to take pictures of my grocery store crew for you tomorrow.
There are some with sheets wrapped around their head.
Shirts too.

Do what makes you feel comfortable and don't worry about what anyone thinks of your outfit.

Post a picture for us too please.
We like pictures.

No one is violating rules in this thread. It's being watched.

Stop complaining.
I think both sides have valid concerns and :barnie.....I agree with both. Telling people to stop complaining though isn't helpful

We can't sterilize this (Coronavirus/Covid-19) because of the political nature of some of the way we (general we) respond. Locally, statewide, and federally. And add that one's point of view of this entire ordeal depends, to some degree, where their information comes from. Decisions out of politicians and the government that are happening daily ...hourly...affect us all. Deeply.
But I think so long as nothing is being slung and discussions are not being approached from a political agenda or through a specific lens, we can speak of the things that have very direct impact on us. As humans, as chicken owners, and as a community trying to support each other.
