Good morning everybody. Heres the daily news:

• Omicron expected to surge in January but studies continue to show its less deadly
• Bad news if you're unvaxxed and work at Kroger. They are pulling their paid time off for unvaxxed Covid
• Covid is running rampant in professional sports. 75 players diagnosed.

Didnt sleep too well last night. I woke up around 4 am and couldnt get back to sleep. I ate a piece of toast (even though I wasnt hungry) before I took my meds because theyve been upsetting my stomach. My dad is sending me some grapefruit and oranges from florida. He said the grapefruit will help. Hes been on bp medicine his whole life so he should know

Update.......
I went to Dollar General I was able to get food. The employees weren't friendly but I am very okay with that. I had to move a few holiday displays so I could fit through the aisle. All in all it went good. I just hope this will be the new normal.
Do to covid I found out today mailmen don't ring door bells. I received a letter postage do he slipped a sorry we missd you tag in the box and walked away. I know this do to cameras I have up. I went to the post office told them he didn't even try the door bell. I am hearing impaired if the door bell isn't rung I haven't a clue someone is outside. They replied " Do to covid we do not have to touch door bells we knock on doors (which he didn't do either)." I said you're touching the mail press the doorbell with my mail. I can not hear someone knocking on my door." She said "we don't have too."

Covid is beating me up on so many different levels.

Im so happy you were able to shop! As for the post office maybe you could say something to the post master? Other than that you could get a driveway alarm. I have one and on occasion it can be annoying (picks up on everything including squirrels) but I always know when I get deliveries now. Amazon, UPS, and Fedex never ring the bell OR knock on the door. Theyre like package ninjas. I should know

Im so happy you were able to shop! As for the post office maybe you could say something to the post master? Other than that you could get a driveway alarm. The post master is who I spoke with today. I will have to call head quarters for this area. St. louis. I don't think it is worth the effort yet.
I can't afford it now but will look into it. Thank you.

Still no word from the dr. but on the plus side I think the medicine is finally working. I no longer feel like my hearts gonna explode and my palms stopped sweating. Actually feel like I could take a nap but I attribute that to not sleeping well last night. Appetite is back too. Still not eating as much but at least I'm getting hungry.
