It feels interactive to me. Maybe people don't actually go back to see what responses their post got, and if that's the case, my reaction is virtually useless. But I like to respond to people's posts as if we are actually communicating bc it FEELS interactive to me. Like a smile and a nod, or a tsk, tsk, oh dear, or something, in the moment. Also, I like to see how others have responded. I may or may not agree, but it's like a group conversation. I'm very isolated and have been for 11 years, never mind Covid, lol! I miss having people in my life IRL. This is as close to IRL as my life gets. So I respond. I had forgotten all about people getting points for it, in all honesty. I'm just here to socialize. And learn about chiggens.

We are a like in many ways. Thank you.

This is COVID at work

Got it to work. Guess my internet is just that slow. Chicago has definately gone to the mattresses. At the beginning of all this the city almost fell. They had to shut down because of looting.

Japanese Mcdonalds is experiencing a french fry shortage due to supply chain issues. Customers can only order a small fry.
Chicago increased covid restrictions due to omicron surge
Passports are going to become 50 dollars more expensive. Not sure why.
Reportedly, at home tests maybe shipped out to every american. I liked it when they sent money instead

Its looking like we wont be getting snow for Christmas. No complaints here on that. Once it starts snowing here it seems like you never stop shoveling

Yea theyre predicting a high of 44 for Christmas day. But its always super cold in the mornings.

We did Christmas in the semi-tropics (Okinawa) and I'll take snow instead. We did have lilac sized poinsettias growing in the yard, though, beautiful.
After Jan. 1st, spring can't come fast enough...

We are now being told to expect 72F on Christmas, possibly a record. We usually have snow.
