I have I phone and I pad for work and android personal and I much prefer android.

Got word from the phone company today that if I dont upgrade theyre gonna shut my service off. They're offering me a free upgrade so we shall see what that is. I want the flip one from samsung but hubby said thats too much money. I loved my windows phone and hate this Android. I will not do apple though.

This is why I don’t do those contracts.

I have a 1 month rolling contract, my phone bill has been $5-$8 a month for years and I decide when I want a new phone. I just got my first upgrade in 5 years for $160. Also I can change my plan from one month to the next and if I just can’t or don’t feel like paying my phone bill *at all* for a few months it doesn’t matter and I can just pick up where I left off.

I'm a graphic designer and I had a teacher in college tell me that all the industries use apple and you will never make it unless you learn how to use it. I told her apple is a baby computer and got dismissed from class. Every company ive worked for uses pcs amd2 not apples. Regardless of my one fued ive proved her wrong. So apple can suck it they produce crappy tech with a promise of an upgrade and the upgrade is you buy their new crap. Smart business model of you get people tp buy into it but they produce crap and they know it.

I never understood why people continue to buy the latest phone every year. I literally just now bought an iPhone 7 and largely for the storage capacity/ the fact the WIFi/Bluetooth antenna on the 6s was failing and I bough that secondhand to begin with. It has also survived multiple hard drops on concrete being thrown across the yard by a horse,veing dropped into a bucket of water whilst washing a horse (twice), being used in rainstorms etc I don’t understand spending 1k on a phone then having to do it again the next year. I’m under no illusions abouhr Apple as a company but people are easily brainwashed.

I dont have a contract phone. The problem is when they slow my data speed because Ive used the allotment for "unlimited" it slows to 3g instead of 4g. So I wont get internet on my phone if I use my allotment because they no longer support 3g

So what youre telling me is you have horses
Hubby and I talked about it last night and we both agreed that spending over 100 dollars on something Im going to drop repeatedly isnt worth it.

I know my sisters horses maintenance is way more than a phone. One colic or however you spell it episode would pay for a couple new phones

For the record I support vaccination for Covid but believe in everyone’s right to choose for themselves. I know it hurts some families in the US, but those folks blocking the bridge from Canada to the US are awesome! What Americans fail to acknowledge, and the news never mention, is those folks are fighting for their own rights and livelihood. Good for them!

Totally! They're saying that something similar is going to happen in LA during the superbowl. Supposedly theres a caravan of trucks headed that way.

Get an otter box. Never had one damaged in that. And I have grandkids and a tile floor.

Actually it I scheduled for March 5 in LAX somewhere. I am very proud of the Canadians standing up to the government! Glad our country is doing the same.
