Wow. That is what I guessed but I got the name wrong. I am glad it isn’t cancer or tumor.

Well we don't know that for sure yet. The drooping was from bells palsy but the inflammation is from damage to the 3rd cranial nerve. The CT should show what caused that but we won't get the results for a few days. I asked the hubby the other night if cancer runs in his family and he said no but his father today said leukemia does. Now Im panicking because our kids could have leukemia. Stupid fear...I know...but I didn't know this before I married him so I didn't come see the genetics

The biggest thing running through my brain right now is his father said to his son "you're going to die from leukemia"

Ninja's FIL sounds like cancer, infection or a stroke IMHO.

Turns out he does have bells palsy. They're checking for possible tumors causing the double vision.

I was never so happy to be wrong.

Be careful not to attribute everything to genetics. It's a factor and a predisposition but there are a lot of others including enviromental and what seems like 'bad luck'.
