Glad you asked! For the foreseeable future, I am very happy to mask up. The ‘average’ American is very sickly in general.

Also, Folks aren’t covering their mouths when coughing or sneezing and no longer distancing.

I haven’t had a cold or flu in 2 years.

Do you feel the cloth masks are actually making a difference? Or do you wear a paper mask?

Cloth masks are generally unregulated. There’s no real science behind their construct.

No mask will protect you 100%, but the odds favor hospital-style masks.

Like you wore masks (not cloth) for 26 months with not so much as a cold. In May took a flight to Hawai'i - no one in the airport or on the plane was masked. Flew on Sat. on Tues. broke with a 'cold' - did not test - should have. Social distanced and masked. Health issues since then have led to a presumptive diagnosis that I was suffering from long term symptoms from a Covid infection. I'm feeling good now, but am once again masking in public arenas.

According to our president the pandemic is over...but it's still considered a public health emergency. So keep washing your hands because COVID isn't going anywhere. It's just killing less people now. Progress but not perfect

Just talked to a friend who returned from a visit with his son in the Denver area. He has tested positive for Covid and is quite sick - has started on the antiviral. He was vaccinated but not boosted as he had Covid a year ago and felt his anti body level must be high. He feels that he most likely was exposed either in the airport or on the plane.
