I am aware of saline rinses, cleaning (to lessen the chances if I don’t have it yet), and I only heard about gargling a few days ago. I’m also staying in my room to avoid the germ monsters in the rest of the house.
My dad took tamaflu (I think) when he got it. I also recommend vitamin c (cut it in half and take once in the morning and at night). Vitamin c is water soluble so it won't stay with you all day so by taking half in the morning and half at night you keep your levels even.

Vit C and zinc.

Quercetin gets the zinc into the cells where it does the most good but it probably has to be ordered if you want supplement form. Quercetin is in onions (especially yellow onions), blueberries, apples, broccoli, kale, cherry tomatoes in high enough amounts to make a real difference. It is best to take the zinc at the same time.

Is it in all alliums or only yellow onion? Garlic is very good for the immune system too! Whenever we got a cold my mom would soak a garlic clove in vodka and have us eat it. I can eat a whole clove of garlic like a chewable vitamin :gig

A child I’ve spent time with today just tested positive. This is her second or third time. It, if I test positive, will be my first.
First time our four kids at home had it all of us did masked and vaxed didn't matter.
I was just so tired slept a long time like a week straight.
This last time two kids sent home had it none of the rest of us ever got it, so six of us in same house everyday together four never tested positive just the two.

I don't know if it is in garlic too. Probably, it is in a LOT of plants. But, without trying to look it up, I would guess garlic has lower levels because it is pretty white. Quercetin is a plant pigment so even in the plants that have higher amounts, is in higher concentrations in the varieties that are more yellow or more red.

Not to knock garlic, I agree it has benefits. I just don't know if it has known benefits specific to covid.

I do know 2 people who died after getting the vaccine, they were both healthy women in their mid 70 and 82, both had no major health problems, both got major headaches for almost 2 weeks after getting the 1. vaccine, both families urged them not to get the 2. vaccine, both were convinced by their doctors to get the 2. anyways, both died after about 2 weeks after getting their 2. injection from blood clots in their brain, they both never had problems before the vaccine with either heart, high blood pressure ect.
I am not against getting shots per se, I am a nurse and know how important it is, but.....if I am healthy, and after getting the vaccine am laid low for more than 1 week, I have to start asking, what is worse ?! I personally got 5 weeks long headaches with dizzyness and motion sickness after both vaccines ( my friend did, too) , so I was out of comission for 10 weeks ! Many friends I know contracted Covid, but felt ok again after 2-3 weeks( even the ones who didn´t get any vaccine at all!) . I did ask my neurologist after the 1st vaccine if I should get the 2. one, she urged me to do it, so I did.

No longer a virgin, I just passed my first test. I know it’s early, but I am so nauseous. I can excuse allergy symptoms, but that was a symptom too many. I was handed a test by my friend, and a woman that works in the hospital lab happened to be standing outside the door, asking what I was doing. Gosh, the tests are easy. I was too nauseous to read the instructions though.
I’ll still have to take another in a few days.
