Geoduck. I lived in western WA for 16 years...I never tried themHaha sea cucumbers aren’t as weird as gooey duck (that’s the phonetic spelling and pronunciation, I can never remember the correct spelling lol) they’re obscene! Like something from a dirty movie obscene! Delicious though
YESSSS!!!.......jalapeno, stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and grilled.....omg![]()

I don’t think I’ve ever had Sriracha or Tabasco
Wait, what!?!?
Kelsey what exactly do you eat? Your menu needs a makeover!
It is definitely insane!! Backyard chickens are so popular so they can raise the prices. It’s crazy. Although I haven’t seen any be $5! Usually like $4 for the ones I get but they users to be like 3! When I got mine I think they were like $3.25 and now $3.79, $3.99 etc! Even that’s crazy!! I imagine how from under $2 to $5 would be even more shocking!!!Right?
When a chick that used to be $1.29 now costs $4.69 in the matter of just a few years something ain't right. I mean it's not like the electricity went up that much, and they don't really feed the chicks before shipping
(don't even get me started on the crazy rising costs of feed...more than double in under 7 years ...grrr....)
Anyway, where was was I? Oh, yeah...ranting about chick prices.
I swear, the moment something becomes popular you can expect the price to quadruple... boom! just like that. Galls the heck out of me when I now have to pay double to quadruple for the exact sames things even though my income is status quo.
(...status quo pre-coronavirus!)
I have 2.5 as well. I inherited the property after my Dad passed. He was a farrier and had horses, a mini donkey, a couple goats and a pig.Yeah, we have about 2.5 and the yard is huge and I’ve imagined having a couple of horses, goats, and/or sheep grazing on it but I don’t think it’s enough. But then I tell myself people keep horses in tiny little areas and there’s people in town with wayyyy less land than we do and basically just a mud pit that have horses so then I think a nice big huge yard to hang out in really isn’t that bad![]()
But they’re super expensive too and no way I could convince my dad to build a barn or even a shed so it’s a no go
You probably have the room for one or two
But then you gotta feed more hay or feed so I get it.
I ordered mine online. They have huge rolls for pretty cheap! I found some for even cheaper than Amazon. Need to find the site.Don't remind me! The damn hardware cloth was the most expensive! couldn't find rolls in stock over 25'. All I could find was "not in stock" "unavailable" and my favorite in stock July 24th. Because I want to dig holes in solid rock with a big iron breaker bar in the midst of monsoon season.![]()
I have chicks coming this week from them.Anyone ordered from ideal? I checked there like a month ago and the only shipping fee is 7 $ small order fee prices seem the same as other hatcheries
I looked online first. Everywhere I could think to check was out of stock. Lowes and Home Depot were even out of huge rolls. As was Cal Ranch and the fencing company.I ordered mine online. They have huge rolls for pretty cheap! I found some for even cheaper than Amazon. Need to find the site.
