Every time I look in here someone's talking about food. This lockdown is going to make everyone gain weight šŸ˜‚
:lau:gig:lau:oops:

Last night I brought like 7 snacks into the living room to watch TV because I couldn’t decide. :lau

Like 5 different kinds of trail mix cause I couldn’t decide which one I wanted and then crackers and popcorn too šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ™ˆ only ate the trail mix though lol

We tried FR for several months, and none of the decoys or trainers could get her to engage. She did engage for a second with a LE K9 friend of mine. It didn't last long, but it's the first time she ever engaged with anyone besides me.

The PSA decoy/trainer from Canada that came down a few months back is AMAZING with dogs of all temperaments, and took dogs I would never consider to train in bitework, and brought out their confidence, and before they knew it, the dog was having fun.
I didn't work any dogs during that seminar, but next time he comes down, I want to take my female and see what he can do with her just for fun. I'll bring my youngest male as well, because I think he's pretty well suited for the sport. He may not be high level intensity, but I could probably get a PSA 1 on him with the right training/resources.

I seriously love this breed, but I hate what it has become. It is harder to find a well bred Mal that is true to trait.

There are some dogs that no matter the training/stimulation, they cannot shut off. I think some lines are bred to the extreme.

There are only a couple breeders I'd consider going to for a pup.

Ferrets are a lot of fun! If I ever got them again, it would be private bred again, and I'd set up an outdoor habitat for them, so they could burrow, and have lots of room to run.

Google Marie's Ferrets. She's in Sweden (I think?) and has a badass outdoor enclosure for her ferrets. She used to breed them, and I think still does, but only for herself. She has amazing ferrets!!
Ah that stinks. :( what do you do instead?

And I really hope he can help her and get her to engage. :D

Yeah, that makes sense. I see so many BYBs and ā€œtrainersā€ and stuff online now. All trying to make a buck off their popularity. :(

101 Dalmatians effect I guess. Cause of all the stories and movies about them lately.

I do actually think it’s probably bad they’re watered down. They’re meant to be intense and someone can’t handle that they should probably just get a Lab haha of course even well bred ones occasionally have the puppy that doesn’t make the cut or is less intense or whatever and might be suited for something else but seems like people are purposely breeding them to be lazy or something now :/

Then there’s the opposite like you mentioned with people breeding crazy, off the wall, out of control dogs cause they think that’s how they’re meant to be.

I don’t know much about the breed admittedly but I feel like both are wrong and the crazy always hyped up one is just as wrong as the lazy no drive one.

Curious which ones you think are the good ones?

Can PM it if you’d prefer ha

And that sounds amazing!!! :love I want an outdoor enclosure for rabbits so they can hop around and binky to their heart’s content lol or an aviary for budgies and cockatiels!!

And wow that’s amazing. :love

Did some checking about using poultry, wrapped properly and kept frozen at 0F for some extra time, and even if there is a little bit of freezer burn it's said to be safe.(according to several food safety sites) Even Butterball says their frozen turkeys can be kept frozen for several years, though recommends eating within 7 months.
Any freezer burn can be cut off easily and the remainder of the meat is said to be fine for soups, stews, chili, bbq or meals with some added moisture to compensate.

I had forgotten what all I had in the deep freeze because when I moved I tossed some stuff and kept other stuff. Glad I did this before placing any orders for a different incubator or meat/fry pan special chicks because everything in there was in good shape, with no discernible freezer burn, and I had more chicken than I thought. Which is what happens when you finally move somewhere that safe yummy rotisserie poultry is available for the allergic family.
Hopefully this gives me more time to order another incubator and see how things go.

I also picked up Mr Roo to get a better feel for how's he's filled out now that he's an actual roo and no longer a cockerel. He didn't really appreciate it but was well behaved despite being a very hands off guy. Darn it......if he keeps acting like a good boy I might start to like him.
A little scrawny for a proposed papa bird, and scared of his own shadow, but he has potential.

That’s what happens when I forget to eat and then try to frantically add in protein and vegetables. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ™ˆ

I wonder what tonight’s meal will look like.... haven’t eaten all day šŸ˜‚šŸ™ˆ

And I never have but that sounds good!!!
My fave samwich from a local restaurant is called a California grill, basically a grilled cheese with tomato and cucumber slices and a few slice of ham...mmm so good!

I’ve never seen a Polish before lol but just Googled it and they totally do!! šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ they’re supposed to be a great breed though so I’m excited haha and they’re super goofy looking šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£
Not sure what that other breed is. Bantams are loud! They're mouthy too. I have 2 cockerels out of 7 bantams.
I had a girlfriend like that! "HAD" ! :smack :lau
