What are we all doing to stay sane while stuck at home?

Cooking and baking are doing it for me. I swear I've never made so much bread but it's not expensive to do, it's a very pleasant tactile experience, it fills the house with an AWESOME aroma and I don't have to go out and try to find store bread.

If anyone's never done it we could do a bake-along. You may surprise yourself with what you can accomplish.

I was thinking of postponing my HAL when this first started but my husband said why? If anything we may need more chickens. So he has contributed to my soon full blown egg hatching addiction. I am still hoping for a small amount of males so I don’t feel bad cooking them. My first batch is still looking like I got 99% female. But I’ll keep checking in a month or two. Maybe instead of eating them I can sell em as POL pullets, hmm 🤔
Don't do that because this virus. Meeting people to sell chickens is risky. I had plans to sell a lot, but unfortunately that's not happening now.

Have now looked up lash egg and it looks like that is what it is. Will she survive this?
I read it is the same infection that causes bumblefoot and I have some antibiotics for that here. Now is obviously not a good time to be going out and about especially here in France with travel restrictions. Is there anything I can do for her that you can suggest. I seem to be plagued with bad luck with my girls as I seem to lose one each year and it is never for the same reason. I am feeling very despondent and feel I must be doing something wrong 😣😢😢

I’ve only baked bread 🍞 a handful of times and half the time it comes out wonderful and the other half it’s a fail. I do use different recipes so I can’t pinpoint where my mistake is. I do well with dinner rolls but not with bread loaves.

I don't really know where to post this but @Miss Lydia asked me to share the email I got from Tractor supply today.
