I am glad they found a way but that would have me so worried. A horse that eats to fast or to much grain with not drinking enough can get a condition called choke. I understand the need for the quarantine but man that would have me so worried about if they got sick and needed medical help.
I would still be less worried than if it hey had no food but oh my gosh!

Apparently centrarchid advertised laying hens on Craigs List and sold all of them in a heartbeat. I predict an increase in flocks and gardens. Some good will come out of all of this.

I'm not risking meeting anyone and getting sick. It's not worth the risk just for a little bit of cash to me. If others want to sell... More power to them

My health is more important. My freezer will be extra full in the next few months.

Today I decided to plant more items because it looks like we won't get the incoming cold snap as originally forecast. I'd already put in my lettuce and spinach seedlings, and some lettuce and broccoli starts, plus the kale survived the winter and the garlic is coming up nicely.
I got some peony planted, lots of weeding done, my red potato starts put in and am wearing shorts for the first time this year.

Pssst....Molpet...I checked last year's leftover Kennebecks in the potato bed as I was planting the new reds today and they are pushing out shoots and roots just fine. I'm in 6b now but I found Kennebecks were good overwinter potatoes in zone 5a as well.

I am not hoarding them I swears it! My girls just keep making them.

I made oatmeal cookies half with raisins and half with chocolate chips and walnuts.
Sour cream pound cake..... That uses 3 eggs and is great with Strawberries.....if anyone has strawberries.

I made quiche for dinner. It was good, but a little salty. The family is pronouncing it “kwi-SHAY”. It took like 12 eggs.

Apparently, two people in my state (Vermont) died today from Covid-19. I’m still working (veterinary clinic), but we are taking precautions. What sucks is that my husband is able to work from home and isolate. If he gets sick, it will be my fault.....

I'm not much for political correctness
But anyway IMHO it shouldn't have been called coronavirus. Should've started right from the get-go calling it covid-19. Too many confused people out there thinking its been around decades because coronavirus is on the back of Lysol cans.

From the WHO website; (I see they still list place of origin on MERS )

For those that didn't hear it reported, read the NY Times (a left wing outlet, just for clarification) that China had said "It is an American disease that might have been introduced by members of the United States Army who visited Wuhan in October."
The Time's stated "There is not a shred of evidence to support that, but the notion received an official endorsement from China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs".

Call me stupid, but why is referring to "right wing media" political?

Right from the horse's mouth, the Chinese were saying it was caused by our military, so the horse's mouth says that his way of distinguishing hit. I say " horse's mouth "in a Kind way. And I support our troops

No matter what media source is your favorite, several of those big shot CDC scientists who know more than us have their info is used on all channels. Unfortunately, Then media people put their own comments on things. They should all be supportive, not scaring us all. IMO
