You are starting to get a bit political. I hear you but I think this is not appropriate on this thread or this website. That said, making assumptions as to how people act in this regard and to think you know is presumptive. Please let this go.

?????????? I'm REALLY confused. Can you point out where I made assumptions about peoples behavior?

I can always tell when someone is going through and catching up on a thread that's big like this. XD I bet anyone who's been active gets a series of post reactions from several pages back and slowly hitting more and more recent posts as someone is catching up. :p
I know.
Sometimes I get quoted for something and I'm like...Wha?? When did I say that?? What was going on at the time?? Then I have to scroll back to make sure I'm understanding the intent of the reply or question. :p

Sarah, I read Choclate's post as just trying to be helpful to working people. I did not think anything was directed at you, and was true to the point that many many people are concerned about gig and lower hourly wage workers.

ETA: I think the comment about crossing the picket line was a general you. Not you personally and I saw no assumption that she thought you would.

Have you noticed that in this new format when you're quoted -- or anybody really -- there's a little up arrow after your name. If you click on that it takes you back to the original post being quoted.

Took me a while to catch on to that but I find it a really useful feature.

Hey @KDOGG331, I’m in the high risk group, old, heart disease asthmatic and diabetic so I’ve been staying home. I only broke out yesterday to pick up pellet stove fuel and some other things but I have not been inside a store at all for over 2 weeks. How are things in your part of Massachusetts? I’m in a more rural area, so things seem a bit quieter here.

Things are pretty good here! A lot of places are still sold out of stuff and TSC was low on some of the animal food but otherwise it’s not too chaotic here I don’t think. But then again I have been trying to stay home too so I’m not entirely sure.

I did go out today to two feed stores but that was it. I was going to go to Walmart too but decided to skip it as I don’t really NEED anything there and it’s not worth the risk. My dad is 63, pretty overweight, and a smoker, so he is high risk, and my mom is pretty healthy but she’s almost 60, and I myself have asthma, so we’re all pretty high risk. One of my brother’s has asthma too.

Oddly though my parents have been going out more than me! I’ve been trying to stay home and they keep going to the grocery stores, etc.

Base frames are treated 2x4. 4' wide 5' front to back. 5' tall 2x4 welded wire. 10' piece of wire makes a 4' high dome ( in the gamefowl world its called dome pens) front and backs are cut one wire width higher and 2 wire widths wider for sides. Cut the front and backs so the wire is free on ends and wrap all the free wires around the dome all the way around. Cut door holes and make doors one wire square wider on all sides and wrap the free wires on the left around front to make hinges. I use plastic clasps to keep the doors closed. Sorry its prolly difficult to envision what I'm saying. Later I'll take pics for you

Here in Billings, MT a lot of people SAY everyone is overreacting and this will blow over, its a hoax... but I am having trouble buying flour, sugar, cat littler, almost all paper goods, pasta, dried foods, canned foods, cat food (dried only, or the cheap canned

So either Billings people are lying to themselves, or we have a lot of outsiders buying up all our stock.

Billings is a hub for Wyoming people to come get their shopping done at Costco, so it is possible... but I doubt it can all be blamed on Northern Wyoming.

My line of work in environmental remediation keeps me away from people other than my four coworkers, so my circle is small. However we are all practicing social distancing and disinfecting shared equipment on top of the usual hand washing.

Last word on this, telling me not to break a picket line is you assuming I would. Enough said. Back to the Coronavirus insanity.

Again, I'm sorry you feel like I was telling that to you specifically. I was not. I was making the request generally to anyone who might read it which is why I did not mention anyone specifically.

I'm going to keep posting information that's relevant to COVID-19, the grocery industry, and other "necessary workers" when I have it. I know an awful lot of people in that industry and a bit of an inside line so it's very close to home for me. In the future I hope you remember that usually when I (or others!) make a post the information is for everyone, not meant to be directed at specific people.

Much like lots of folks have posted things like "STAY HOME YOU GUYS!". I hope you take my posts with that same energy you take "stay home" posts in the future. I don't think anyone here thought posts like that were directed specifically at any of us in particular.
