Have you guys seen Tiger King yet? I hear it’s crazy haha

Nope. Many of his tigers ended up at a rescue here in Colorado.
I don't think I want to support him.

Thank you!! Good to know!! For some reason I just assumed it would need to be deep because they grow underground haha

What else could I grow in 5 gallon buckets? And would they need drain holes? I have some pots but I feel like buckets would be a good idea.

Pots....lettuces, swiss chard, radish, onions all shallow rooted so don't NEED deep soil.
Buckets are good for peppers, patio tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, squash, carrots, and pretty much everything unless it is a giant tomato plant or super sprawling.

Onion bulbs form right above the soil or kinda half in half out of the soil. They are hungry plants so rich soil or side dress the plants with compost a few times during growing. They like a firmer soil but not hard soil. Potting soil is to loose for them.

Yes drain holes in all pots/buckets!

I need to work on this hahah today I’ve been better and haven’t been on my phone that much but even when I’m not on it, I still have a lot to work on 😂🙈

I’m not normally a very negative person and mostly pretty happy but anxiety causes me to fixate on stuff sometimes or replay it over and over and also, I am the worst to myself!! Horribly nasty and would never treat or talk to a friend the way I do myself 😂🙈
You should treat yourself the way you'd want others to treat you

Tiger King is just a bunch of drama on a show that's not even about what happened in reality. Netflix didn't even do what they said they were going to do and make it like Blackfish.

No, not if your intention is to drown your veggies. :plbb
Should put holes along the sides and bottoms. I did just the bottoms last year and I had to add some on the sides this year... Last year they didn't do too bad, but you need the hot air to come out so lots of holes on the sides help that.

I like Blue Planet and everything on Shark week. Other than that I don't watch much because we stopped our satellite to get more family time plus I rarely watch it during the hot months.

Today I hung out in the free range run and 2 of the 3 ducklings I vent sexed are quacking!!! That means I was right. I will see the last one and if it's female. Hoping it quacks in a few days.

I don’t think the money is going to him? I think it’s a third party documentary but

And thanks again!! This is super helpful!!! I didn’t realize squash could be grown in a bucket!! Can peas or green beans be grown in a bucket or pot or something?

Maybe I will try to grow a lot more stuff in pots this year and save the garden for the bigger stuff like tomatoes or cucumbers or something haha I might do peppers strictly in pots just because they never seem to well in the ground for me. Last year I did both and the potted ones did way better.

Oh and thanks for the other info. Very helpful.
