I’m not sure, maybe?? I really feel like we didn’t but  our school was stupid and spent sooo much time on freaking US history haha
That is US history... Honestly I never learned about it or the plague. We learned more about Indians and Christopher Columbus... Let me tell you. The mention of his name in VA strikes up some heated conversations. New England history classes like to sugar coat things and you learn so much more in history classes down here.

Yeah I know but it’s also world wide haha plus I more mean like other stuff about our history like the dang pilgrims and the tea party 😂🤣 I swear we talked about the dang tea party and revolution so much lol

And yeah probably haha but not even just that, they just talk about New England/local history soooo much. I feel like exclusively 😂🤣

Probably not really but still haha

We literally only had one year of world history freshman year and the rest was all US :th

Even the college history classes I took were all US 😂🤣 of course I chose those cause I do kinda like US but still 😂🤣

There have been many pandemics in history. Ever hear of the Black Plague?
What people hear about this kind of stuff is very surprisingly edited. I've been quite surprised by it.

For instance, the black plague was accelerated by a famine, or interlinked with them. They don't teach this often, but its an interesting aspect. For example, when scientists starting measuring ice cores near the poles they found unusually large amounts of soot in the air in years around the plagues.

This led them to discover some 'sun darkening' eruptions of volcanoes had occurred and had caused poor farm productivity around those times, resulting in plagues and famines mixing together for more mayhem.

You can all google search this stuff also.

I've always wondered about my family like that because I could not be more different from them....physically, mentally, and personality wise.... (thankfully)
No telling what kind of skeletons I might uncover if I decide to do an ancestry test.
I'd still be careful.

Because recessive traits of grandfathers and grandmothers can show up in the grandchildren and be mistaken for rowdy mailman scenarios.

I have a relative who got hair color from her grandfather for example. And when you compare her with the aunt's kids, its very clearly the grandfather's genes, even though the parents had different hair than that grandfather. But the aunt has the grandfather's hair also.

Genes can sometimes manifest weirdly also and jump generations. Like in family pictures sometimes you'll find people that looked like what their great grand parents looked like when they were young.

Everything you learned about the pilgrims was probably a lie 😂 trust me on that. I did a history class in college and about threw up learning about the time of the pilgrims. I have a lot of respect for the Indians that lived in this country.
