Everything you learned about the pilgrims was probably a lie 😂 trust me on that. I did a history class in college and about threw up learning about the time of the pilgrims. I have a lot of respect for the Indians that lived in this country.
Probably 😂🤣 and yeah it’s sad how much we’ve screwed them over over the years.

Well now I’m curious 😂🤣
Just lots of killing of innocent people plus harming of innocent people. The civil war is huge in VA and there's so much history here but lots of innocent people were harmed. My kids have learned all about the civil war. It's so interesting how they walked so far and you can still walk and see what happened with memorials in each area.

It also means that you should watch out for your sprouts! :):bun

I did do battle last year....and lost. This year I will be more inclined to put wire cages around/over my delicate tasty plants.

Last year mommy made a burrow under a squash plant in my raised bed. It was well hidden indeed.

How's the chicken market in everyone's area now days?
I'd been hearing stories about there being a shortage because of covid 19.
Been watching CL and seems my area has been business as usual regarding prices and availability.
We're a rural area so chickens have always been easy to find and prices are a lot lower then in the big cities and other states.
Today I finally found one. Someone's got an ad up selling started pullets (10 weeks old, common breeds) for $50 each and chicks for $15. Other ads have hens priced from $8 to $15.
Their ad starts out with some gibberish about being prepared and how anyone can find a cheap farm chicken but not to buy a good enough chicken but to buy the best. Which is what theirs are.
Just wondering if anyone's seeing shortages or inflated prices?

I haven't really looked but I know our farm stores are selling out within a few hours of getting chicks in. Even ducks, turkeys, and guinea are flying out the stores.
Prices have not soared yet in the farm store.
