New to backyard chickens. I think my family may have had it in early february. My husband who never gets sick, was worse than me. Coughing for almost 3 weeks. Said he felt like he was drowning and problems catching his breath. It was so bad he went to the doctor! U know its bad when men go . Of course we didnt think coronavirus then and dr gave him cough medicine and toughed it out. Things have been a little hard but we are staying home as not to put more pressure on the healthcare system.

On a fun note, While were on stay at home orders i have decided to put eggs under a broody hen. Its day 11. Im so excited...and i know my dogs love having us home all day.

And we won't be spending on a trip this year either, staying home instead. Already two events in June are cancelled, and I doubt much of anything, gathering wise, will be happening this year.

Yup. All our plans were cancelled this year and not by us but still $$ savings. Have made many trips to Disney Orlando, this yr saving some $ was just going to a new Lego Land in Goshen NY, largest one ever built 150 acres of theme park. Unfortunately this covid virus put a damper on it getting built, haven't finished it yet was supposed to have a grand opening in June, put off till next yr now.
Oh well, myself I'd rather stay home anyway.

Having a sleepover at my parents and we just watched Art of Racing in the Rain it was so good but so sad.

Today I got to give a lesson to my parents neighborhood on chicks I went to TSC this morning to get feed and the manager offered me 8 chicks for $.50 a piece. 4 I have no clue what they are. They thought leghorn or Cornish Rock but they have feathered legs but they're bigger than a bantam. Then I went to the TSC by my parents while I was waiting for a customer to get his eggs. I got 4 Pullet Leghorns. The neighborhood wanted to hold them. They were so tired out when my husband got them home.

I'm just glad I can still enjoy time with my family and still get out somewhat even if I have to wear a mask plus sanitize real good.

We also made homemade sundaes because their are no ice cream places opened where my parents live.

That sounds awesome!!! I had a ginormous bowl of ice cream earlier. I normally don’t have such a big one but I was really hot today lol and that movie is so sad!!! Really good but sad haha

I ate awful today not vegan at all but I never fall off the wagon for days usually I eat bad and feel awful so the next day I eat vegan again

Me too!! Lmao I even had some Coke which I haven’t had in sooooo long. and same!! I don’t eat vegan but I eat carpy and then next day it’s tons of vegetables and nothing bad
