Well 1 day closer to quail egg pick up.

I really want to get several quail so that we can have a decent meat supply. I have a feeling meat will not be in good supply in the next month or so.

I never thought being a vegan would honestly put me at an advantage during this virus. Yeah it keeps me healthy and strong, but never thought there would be a day where meat was sparse or going to be.

When we have been grocery shopping most pork can’t be found and chicken is starting to look like that now. The Tyson chicken place near me hasn’t been cranking out as many chickens either.

Today the dogs are getting lots of duck eggs because we have too many in the fridge. I stopped selling fertile eggs because we were getting none for us with all the orders. I never sold any duck eggs because we only get a few a day and I didn’t want to short the family.

I had realized just that naming my chicken "Ovid" would sound even better...

Wow! Where did you hear this? This is news! No shortages here, no sickness in our area although I THINK there is one confirmed in our state. Turning on the news although we are in bed slready.

All we have is coronavirus around here. (I live in Florida)We have safer at home orders (we just had SOME restrictions taken away recently) and a couple more restrictions. people ware masks when they exit their homes. Schools are also closed so we have to use online learning and video conference software.

Can't find hand sanitizers anywhere. Target had a sign that you could only buy so many BUT all the shelves there were empty.

Ive Got toilet paper (extra) which don't really need, have a large pkg not opened - bought it b-4 Xmas. My son visits at Xmas and usually goes through most of it.

Dollar Tree - cleaned out, couldn't find any similar products at Wally or Tarzhay, for cleaning hands. But, they had something to wipe down tables etc. I got a couple packets of those.They don't sound user friendly. Label says after use, thoroughly scrub down area, used on

The senior bus transportation dispatcher told me buses all have face masks if needed.

I have found most of our seniors do not get flu shots, some don't even see doctors or dentists. Honestly they pull their own teeth - diagnose themselves and treat with OTC products - not knowing what they really have.

I have major worries about them. But most are older than me and bragging they are still here. How to you argue with that?

We have to order toilet paper from Amazon. We also have similar precautions and restrictions.

Can astigmatism develop later or not? Cause I used to have pretty good vision, or so I thought. Only gotten worse like last couple or few. Idk.

Mine did. They were fine until later high school when I could not see the same things I used to see just fine. A pair of glasses fixed me right up and a few years later I switched to contacts.

Yeah, my memory is like a sieve. I have Mille Fleur D'uccles, bantam mottled cochins, Large Fowl cochins, Gold Laced Polish, Tolbunt Polish and Crested Cream Legbars. Also two silkie hens I have a rooster for, but have not set up a breeding area yet so rooster is a bachelor so far.

Milles and Polish are on my desire list, but right now I'm not set up for them. It's a newer to me place and a work in progress. However when I'm ready I'll contact you for eggs.

In my area of Colorado (Denver area), it's a completely different story in based on what I see. Places are open and have plenty. TP, paper towels, canned good, meat, chicken, pork, it's all in the store. Feed stores have chicks, turkeys, and ducks. Plenty of feed and supplies too. There are no shortages.

As stated before, these "shortages" very localized. I add the quotes because it's not really a shortage, shortages are when there is little or no supply when in fact the supply is fine.

The sky is not falling, we are not going to run out of meat and need to resort to killing our own flocks to survive.

I LOVE my white crested polish! She's the prima donna of the flock for sure. I thought about just having a flock of them!

We need a list of these companies so we can avoid them moving forward. Alongside piece of crap, shady, companies like Amazon.
