I DID get tested - twice. Once to find out I had it, and once to find out I probably don't (it was inconclusive). It does hurt. More than I thought it would.

What's a hoser?

It's a somewhat dated derogatory term for a Canadian person. Shakespeare wasn't Canadian, obviously, but he's a hoser byproxy.

ETA that I love Canada! I've gone there several times over the years, mainly for hockey games and the incredible landscape! I actually learned the entire national anthem so I could belt it out at a hockey game. And I did belt it out. And it was EPIC.

Oh, yes! Many kids still read. Fewer do, for sure. But I think it has a lot to do with the habits of the family. My kids are voracious readers. My husband and I are readers, too, as were my parents. I think that influence overrides technology.

Before my kiddo could actually read them, books were toys to be played with and teethed upon. Even as a teen kiddo asks when we will be able to visit our local library again because there is usually a tall stack of library books around an addition to my own mini home library.

New interest, video games, and thoughts of the future compete for reading time these days, but kiddo grew up loving books and respecting them. Well, after the teething stage I mean.

My younger son (he's 23 now) had a goal in high school to read every novel in the school library. He accomplished it. I'm so proud... sniff, sniff...

Just google banned authors, or banned books.
My dad once told me, "There are two things I should never do
1. Don't try to teach a teacher, you won't get anywhere.
2.You can teach a US Marine, but you can't teach him much.
