I'm so happy my kids are grown because of the situation we are in.
My wife and I always worked opposite shifts so one of us could have been home with the kids.
It would be very difficult to manage closed schools if one had to go to work.

With 1/4 of Florida's cases in the Miami area, police there are now issuing fines for not wearing a mask.

Good grief, the fuss made over masks. tsk tsk!
I even wear them in the car, because I would otherwise forget to put them up once I get out. On our senior/disabled folks bus, the driver takes our temperature before we are allowed to enter the bus. So what? Actually I am surprised that my temp. is so low. I guess that's okay. We also social distance with the seating, wear the seat belts religiously and the driver hands out masks to those who forgot theirs.

The only bad thing about masks is they do not prevent sunburn. I can't put my sun block on because I am afraid it would gum up the mask.

Here in Podunkville just today I was surprised to see on our local news a segment by doctors disputing that masks cause problems, or raise CO2 levels, and that people should stop using that as an excuse because it is exacerbating the spread. After the doctors puts on 7 masks, his oxygen and CO2 levels are measured and both remain at normal levels.

I've seen videos of people doing heavy exercise with a mask on checking blood oxygen levels. There's an olmypic runner with serious allergies that won a medal wearing a mask. I went through some seriously worse conditions than any anti-masker at the beginning of June while wearing a mask and I still wore it. There's really no excuse, except maybe a desire to but lack of access (thinking poor/homeless, etc. A lot of places 'round here have free masks for that reason.). If you don't like it, just get curbside pickup. It's not that hard.

I guess I've seen too many movies. When I'm getting out of the car and putting my mask on, I feel like I'm going in to rob the place.
I feel you on that...
