More candles today. Feeling kinda tired - been staying up too late but it's been letting me get to sleep despite my anxiety so it's something.
D is gonna butcher some of our rabbits today - we're making rabbit sausage as holiday stuff and these are going towards that. I will split the mandible on one of the skulls for the earrings and pop them in with the flesh eating beetles for a day or two (probably one) then a quick sterilizing soak then set them out for a few days to dehydrate. THEN I can craft with them. I may need to glue the teeth in.

G is feeling well today but still can't taste. His pain's gone down.

I am officially welcomed into the corona country club! I tested positive today. I don't really feel to bad, It's basically a head cold with a sore throat. I've had it for a few days but didn't think anything of it until this morning when I couldn't smell anything and I mean anything! Not even an extremely strong onion. Other then that I feel fine. Had I not tested positive I would have been still at work. Plus side all my co-workers tested negative. The worst part is I have no clue where I got it from. I very rarely go anywhere and when I do I wear my mask and sanitize the hell out of my hands. I'm just praying my husband doesn't get it. He has severe COPD. This will not be good for him.
Hope you feel better soon. :hugs

So sorry. :hugs

And the story continues. Another associate spent all day Friday with this person. He then went and judged a field trial on Sat. in Maryland and on Sunday competed at this event. Folks from Md., Va., Del., NJ, and Pa. attended. I can guarantee that none were masked. They haven't masked all season. And folks wonder about the exponential spread of this virus.

Hey everyone! First time posting on the thread, but I've been reading a bit. As someone who's still in school, I thought I might be able to offer a new perspective on the thread, so here goes.....

My school is fully in person. Masks are required at all times. Every classroom was measured to figure out how many desks can safely fit. Band and chorus are operating in enlarged spaces. Everyone wears masks for those, too- in band there are special masks with a hole cut for the mouthpiece of your instrument, and the flutes get face shields that you're able to play with. All the instruments (aside from flutes because flutes don't work like that) have bell covers on them to protect against droplets coming out of said instruments. All concerts have been videotaped with no live audience. There is an option for students to do remote learning, and many have done so. There is a zoom meeting open on the smartboard in every classroom, and if you're remote, you do classes through zoom. So far, there have been positive cases, but no in school spread. Everyone found to be a 'close contact' (within 6 feet (even with mask) for 15+ minutes) of someone with a positive case is pulled into a 2 week quarantine, and the entire family of positive cases has to stay home for 2 weeks. So far all spread has been traced back to things other than school- mainly hockey and other team sports. If there was any in school spread, we'd be going remote immediately. I live in a place where it's safe to say that many kids haven't heard the word 'no' too often, and many adults are used to their money protecting them, so people haven't exactly been great with masks and distancing. There have been a lot of parties on yachts. One kid at school had the bright idea to go tandem skydiving over thanksgiving break- of all the reasons to get COVID, I'm pretty sure that 'i strapped myself to another person' is one of the stupidest. Cases are going up and nobody knows if we're goin gto come back in person after Christmas break.

I will also add some stuff I forgot to mention- certain stairways have been deemed to narrow to go both ways up and down, so they're for going up or going down only. It's a PITA. We also wipe down desks with a cleaning spray after every class.

Shad, idk how it is where sour is but where I live you're not allowed to get a test unless you have symptoms. Our house has two people living with someone who has been diagnosed positive and been unmasked around us in the days leading up to the diagnosis and we're not allowed to get tested unless we develop a fever or loss of taste or severe cough, etc.
I can't imagine it's too different where sour is.

It's different for us- no symptoms needed. You don't just show up, though- you call the hospital and make an appointment. So I think it does vary.
