Across the hwy behind my house is a church that has been handing out food donations. A few days before Thanksgiving the lines there started at 6AM and continued until after 11AM of cars waiting to get food. I was shocked. Our city has never seen the likes of this since the great depression I'm sure. I did not know how many people had been affected until that. Our area hospitals have even laid off workers for some reason. So upsetting.I just heard that travel to the US from Europe has been suspended except from Great Britain. This also includes all trade.
What have you experienced, and are you experiencing shortages in your area? Have you been sick, or do you have friends or family that are?
Italy has closed commerce except for pharmacies and food stores.
