DIL is in quarantine. She works in a school cafeteria and two co workers have tested positive for Covid. Son has been working from home and both grand daughters are home from college. So now the waiting game starts for them.

I think I posted last week about my friend's hubby in the ICU...he's now in a coma and has taken some major major damage. Probably will not be awake for Christmas and no possibilty to be home by New Years at this point. Every day is touch and go.

Just finished a handmade hardwood slab cutting board for a friend. He got his first apartment this year and has almost nothing in it and had no housewarming so we're gifting him this cutting board to commemorate him having moved into his own space. It's so beautiful and smooth.

Wishing for the best Sour! How is your friend doing?

First friend is at an apparent 100 % according to cardiac doctor. Fingers crossed. 2nd friend is more of a long hauler - improving but very slowly. He still has fatigue and is slow to regain lung function. His 3 family members are apparently at 100 % recovery. It is a truly strange virus in the way that it acts differently in different people.

Pretty birds, and good to know my flock is not the only tarp shredders out there! One week with access to a tarp and my tarp looked like a sorry cat 5 hurricane survivor!
