Oh I did. I made him take the dog for a walk to get them both out of my hair. :lau the problem is my kitchen is so small so a little mess looks like a big one. In such an enclosed space its hard to work without making a mess. Plus I dont care if I make one because I know I'm gonna clean it up. I dont leave my kitchen dirty if I can help it
Phht! That's how I know I am having fun and am at my happiest, when I am making a GLORIOUS mess! Everybody knows to stand back and wait for the flour dust to settle, then they can enjoy my marvelous treats! And like you, I clean my own messes, so nobody needs to complain! Don't like it, don't look at it!

About the time I 'threw a fit' because the wife made a mess cooking, knowing full well she is the one cleaning up....... is the day I'd have itching powder in my undies and bath towels that were in need of replacing ten years ago.

Sorry he's a stress monkey. Hope you had fun! (Yes the dog will love them even when they aren't pretty)

I hate that part. I get it...there's not much for the company to say right now, but I really hate the waiting.
I was vaccinated so I shouldn't worry about it but I do. I know many where I work, just guessing but I'd guess maybe 40% have not complied. I do not know why I haven't heard the plan yet, maybe they were wondering if it would even happen, three courts struck it down? and then now one says it's on still? That Sept mandate is on here pretty soon in Jan so we'll find out what the plan is soon one way or another.

Hubby spent the day at the ER, having a non-Covid issue, and I was there half the time. We arrived at about 9am, before the rush. As time passed, it got worse. A lot worse, patients on gurneys in the halls, sitting on chairs in the halls, miserable! Staff short handed, super busy, trying hard to be nice. Glad we got out of there!
Washing everything we wore, showering, and no way could work there. Bless them all!
It's never 'fun' in the ER, but now, awful!

I hope hubby is doing better. I agree I couldn't handle working at a hospital now a days.

@Ninjasquirrel
A bread I make quite often, no work, no mess, no special equipment, all purpose flour, easy.
No knead crusty white bread, my kids gobble it up. I call it english muffin bread cause to me it has more the taste and texture of english muffins.
And you don't need a enameled dutch oven, I've used a few different pots and pans and even a crock pot inside (keep in mind though from experience....lol...any plastic handles will melt at that temp...)
Don't need that enameled dutch oven though I would like one, I use a plain cheap cast iron one from Walmart now, Ozark Trail 5-qt cast iron dutch oven $20. Bread never sticks, over couple hundred loaves now, and I have never washed it, haven't even rinsed it out, but only thing I use it for.
I use this method/recipe , though I have tweaked it cause I make a double size batch, have to add a little more flour, if I don't make two loaves or a double size loaf I don't get any like I said my kids gobble it up.
