There are face shields that allow copious air flow but still offer protection.
I have tried but the rebreathing of air is still to much. I do have a physicians note. I also only leave my house 2 times a month. I don't have visitors. I have not had it so I can't be spreading it. It should also be my option to trust the very few people I go around to not spread it to me.

I dont think anyone can be positive they never had it. Or to be positive others dont have it nor spread it. There's all kinds of possibilities. Do you get mail?

Do we cancel or not?
That is of course absolutely your choice, either way. I would have it if it were me because those same people will either wear mask or not, gather in groups or stay isolated the other 99% of the time regardless.
IMHO, we need to take back personal choice/responsibility and stop treating it like it's a bad thing.

Once a month when I get it, the mail. I have never had it, the virus. It is my option to be around certain people and possibly get it. I do need things like this ID. Without it I can not get a deduction on personal property taxes. If I could mask up I would. The way we found out I can't wear one was me wearing one passing out in my yard falling onto concrete blocks and tearing my rotator cuff. I need surgery on it but I can't wear a mask so they will not operate on me. My life would be better, me happier, and without as much pain if I could simply wear the stupid mask. But I can't.

My daughter is convinced that all the unvaccinated people in hospitals are there because vaccinated people made them sick by shedding the virus onto them. 😕 Who starts these stupid rumors and hoaxes and outright lies? She and her DH have no TV. They get their "info" from what HE hears over the radio and relays to her. But that's what they believe, and why they won't get vaccinated. Like the person above who posted, they are convinced people are dying in droves from the vaccine, not from covid, and that the government is trying to kill us all. She won't come see me or her children because we are vaccinated. God help
I think she has ever right to her opinion. Obviously just because Fauci tells us something doesn’t mean he is right.

I need some advice. We have had a NYE party planned for a while now- outdoors, open air. My whole family is vaccinated, but not all of the attendants are. We’re expecting anywhere from 10-40ish people. Would it be foolish and putting us and everyone else at risk to attend and host this event? 3/5 of my family members are boosted, and the other 2 are fully vaxxed. It’s pretty implausible to ask everyone to test before attending. Do we cancel or not?
Will you be drinking alcohol?
