Wow, folks caring about others more than themselves. Such a foreign concept to many - evidently.
Because it's a fake excuse. The greater public good is a higher need. You do not have a right to infect others because of what you believe or do not believe. Nobody is telling anyone not to believe as they do either. Believe in the flying spaghetti monster if you want, just do not bring others harm as a result.
You are really rude.

REMINDER TO ALL, please refer back to the message that was added to the first page of this thread:

AN EDIT FROM ADMIN:

A quick important reminder:

We require all our members to remain civil, friendly, and respectful in ALL their public interactions. If we notice you are breaking this rule (to which you agreed when signing up for BYC), we'll need to issue a warning and even potentially remove your access to our community.

POLITICS:
Do not discuss politics in this thread. In general, we discourage political discussions because they so often go south. Because this thread is already a sensitive topic and moving so quickly, we need to initiate a ZERO-POLITICS rule.

Please make sure you understand this before continuing in this thread.

And you interpret that as a right to infect others? Wow.
How are you considering someone’s personal decisions “the right to infect others?” If you don’t like it stay away from other people. Make anyone you come into contact with show you proof they’ve been vaccinated. Don’t be surprised when quite a few tell you to kick rocks.

How has covid changed my daily life? Well, after 2 years of wearing a mask - I don't think I can ever stop, I never realised how much i walk around with my mouth hanging open now :lau and all the money saved from buying lipstick! Its almost the 'new normal' now, i never really thought about how disgusting public surfaces can be - like supermarket trolleys and the tube :sick

I'm fortunate enough that my role was already half London based, half home - so the adjustment to WFH was pretty easy for me. We ended up moving out into the country (hence the chickens!) if anything, covid forced me to wake up and realise there is more to life than commuting 7 hours to an office, now I make time for gardening, my relationship and hobbies!

Welcome to BYC and the Covid thread. Wearing a mask feels pretty normal to me now too.
