Can someone tell me if 1/4 tablespoon per quart is correct dosage for sulmet for 4day & 3 week old chick's. Also is it aureomycin sulmet? Is that the correct med's for cocci???

Aureomycin is different from sulmut in the fact it is not as toxic to the birds. It is easy to overdose the Sulmut, but the Aureo is more $$$$. I believe the Aureo. is 1 tablespoon per gal. I cant remember the dosage of sulmet, i thought is was on the label....I think I dumped a capful into 1 gal water, not sure.

If you got the Aureomycin-sulmet Soluble Powder the dosage is 1 1/2 level teaspoon per gallon for two days, then 3/4 teaspoon for four days
