Correct sex from hatchery?

Ideal was 100% with mine... you can request that they do not send packing peanuts.

I ordered 50 pullets, various breeds, from Ideal and so far all of them appear to be pullets. Keeping my fingers crossed. I ordered from them last year and I think it was out of 25 or so chicks I only got 1 rooster. You just never know.

On a slightly different note, this is a very useful site when you're trying to decide which hatchery to use. www.davesgarden.com I was wanting to try a different hatchery than Ideal, just out of pure curiosity since I was completely satisfied, and, well, if it ain't broke don't fix it! After reading all of the reviews of other hatcheries I ended up just ordering from Ideal again, and again I am very satisfied with the chicks so far. I know you should take everything with a grain of salt, but I was ALMOST going to order from Cackle until I read some very disturbing (IF they are true) reviews about them and their customer service (or lack thereof). To each his own. I will most likely continue ordering from Ideal in the future until I have a good reason to look elsewhere.

I ordered 25 mixed pullets from Mt Healthy and there was a packing peanut roo. All the rest were she's.
