Corrugated Roofing Opinions?

This is what I was thinking of using on my coop. I live in a place that is likely to get alot of snow so I decided to support it with 2x4 wooden beams so it will let light in between the beams but will hold the weight of snow.

The water run off will be caught by a piece of halved pvc and emptied into a rain barrel for chicken drinking....lol. I can't wait to finish my coop.

I was planning on turning my rain barrel into an automatic waterer so there would be endless supply I hope it works.

I have to get a permit from the city I figure if I can't get the chickens then my 2 year old has an awesome play house....lol.
