It’s weird. The Georgia Poultry Lab gave me a positive diagnosis, for one of my birds. Now I have 2 with rales, none of the other symptoms, and no smell...

Probably MG. Birds can have one or more different types of respiratory diseases at the same time.

They could be dealing with both, which isn’t uncommon either. Just don’t breed to sell to others, treat whenever symptoms show or you can choose to cull and disinfectant everything. Wait 3-4 weeks before getting new birds on the property.

I don’t breed/sell, show birds, or anything like that, so that’s good. I don’t usually go to other’s flocks either, but that would be the most likely, so I’ll make sure I’m careful, if it ever comes up.

the poultry lab tested them for MS and MG as well. One came back with MS, but the vet said they rarely becomes problematic.

I just don’t understand where I got this from. I did bring in a rooster and didn’t mix him until after a 60 day quarantine. He had coccidiosis and mites that I treated him for, but not one sneeze or respiratory symptom then or now. Could it be he wasn’t the carrier and I got it some other way?
