Lol your dog will notice the first time they meet face to face for sure! It sounds like he's really protective of his ladies already. What a good roo!

I noticed another thing he did yesterday. The hens were all eating some scratch and one wandered off. He went and chased that one back to the rest. He doesn't always do this but maybe because the dog was there. Also while they were all scratching and eating, he ate a little but mostly looked around.
