Anyone interested in a pair of adult Mississippi (Saddleback) Cotton Patch Geese?
The gander came from Tom Walker, while the goose is one hatched from a pair I picked up from Ronnie Sumrall, in Mississippi a few years back. Ronnie was one of the last original breeders of (Saddleback) Cotton Patch Geese. The other was a breeder who lived within twenty miles of him, and that person donated their group of Cotton Patch Geese to a county zoo. A man in Alabama has since obtained all of the zoo's geese. Many of the zoo geese had orange bills, legs, and feet.
Cutting back, trying to slow down some. Can't do what I could do a few years ago. Extreme problems with a Florida Panther and a family of bobcats make it unsafe for geese on the farm anymore. Selling the last of my bloodline of Copper Black Marans and another pair of Cotton Patch Geese this week, but will still be working with my Florida Cracker Cattle and Florida Cracker Sheep (both are critically endangered breeds dating back to the 1500's), and my Saipan Jungle Fowl.
So, one pair of breeding age Cotton Patch Geese, $350.00 firm, cash only, no shipping.
Both geese have pink bills, legs, and feet. The gander is pure Mississippi (Saddleback), while the goose is 3/4 Mississippi (Saddleback), 1/4 Arkansas (Solid). Goose is Saddleback colored. I am located in North Central Florida.
Thank you,
