@Miss Lydia @livininbrazil OMG! The bottom goose does look just like Forest! Is it possible that there would have been some cotton patch genetics in her pilgrim parents?

All the European-type geese have the same genetics if you go back far enough. Cottons and Pils and Normandies and Shetlands and West-of-Englands etc are auto-sexing birds, which have been developed from the European geese. So, Pils and Cottons will have come from common ancestors back in England at some point.
It may just be that the farmer has some cottonpatch-type geese there mixed in with the pilgrim-type geese that she has. Maybe this one is a bit of both, or even a bit of another type in-between the other two, like mine are.....or maybe she has cottonpatch-type and thinks they´re pilgrims? Possible?
Here´s one of my auto-sexing pilgrim-type females for comparison..

I had someone tell me again today that Forest is a male.... i personally think she looks just like this pic except her feathers are more developed and her beak is pink
