Coturnix color ID

Anyone have any idea what color this little one will be. Not the dark one but the two tone one. It has a really unusual pink tint and I’m stumped on what color it will be.

maybe fawn tuxedo? or red tuxedo. in the second picture it looks like a fluff ball I've had before that turned into this colour

Yes, Red Range Tux was also my thought. Maybe Red Range/Tibetan Mix, got a few of these in my last hatch.

Thanks for the reply! And your quail is so cute and plump, lol. I was thinking something in fawn, red, cinnamon spectrum. I can’t believe how hard it is to find a color chart for coturnix. I’m certain there’s many online but finding one sure is hard! All the ones I’ve found are incomplete and only include “basic” colors and few show chick to adult :/

It has a similar look as those little ones particularly the two in the corner just much lighter and with a pink hue to the color. They are under just a white bulb, so no red light effects happening. It has the markings like a tuxedo on the body and the head has one stripe down the top and two patches of the color, one on each eye.

I have a similar color in my line, if yours are the same as mine they will be like a light red range / cinnamon, here are some pics.

their dad is the red one in front of the water, he was the same color as his offspring when he was younger, and rounded out to a nice red.
