So I'm thinking I have 6 A&M's, 5 tibetan and 5 cinnamon? This are my first coturnix ever so I'm just guessing from pictures. I can get closer shots if needed I just figured this was a good group shot. What do you all think?

From that picture angle,6 A&Ms and idk if they have white on there chest or not but yea tibetans looks like 3 darkly colored ones and then 2 lighter colored ones. But the one in the left hand corner on the top near all the A&Ms seem like a rosseta, and yes the rest are cinnamons.

Geeze I sure hope I didn't make a fool of myself and got the colors wrong first time I try to do it for someone else.

those are known as Cinnamon range or Red range/tibetan if you want to be united states termy

nope you did a good job just forgot to mention the dark ranges at the bottom, and you got the cinnamon right but you didnt add the pattern of the bird to it (range or tibetan same thing)

If it was a pure cinnamon it would look liek a light brown coturnix

So you did a good job

Okay thanks! So range is a pattern?

Also does the head down color mean they are a different color or does that vary with each chick?

And tibetans come in both light and dark?

Also some of the A&M's had a brown/black dot on their head, does that mean anything?

Lots of questions

What I meant by the head down was that 3 of the cinnamon range's have dark heads and 3 have light heads but I'm assuming thats just natural variation?

What happens when you breed the light and dark together (Ranges) (half and half or mix)?

What should I breed the rosetta with or do I have to get more rosetta to see that pattern?

You can breed rosetta with the A & M and get some really nice rosetta ranges

All range (cinnamon, rosetta and dark) can ALL be bred to A& M and produce tuxedos in cinnamon, rosetta and dark
