I wasn't expecting any to hatch until tomorrow or Wednesday, but I got one at 3 am this morning, chirping like mad. I didn't even have my brooder set up yet! What I'm wondering is why she(hoping it's a girl) hatched so early. I didn't notice much of a temperature spike or anything, though there could be warmer spots since I'm using a homemade still air incubator.
She's really healthy, no cross beak and eating already. Any thoughts?
