And how do you candle quail eggs? Never tried, myself, just because they are so small and the shell always seemed much thicker than shells so I never attempted.
I have a very bright 21 buld LED bike light, usually works very well for candling, but these shells are thick, tinted and blotched with brown. I'll be able to tell more once the embryos start to fill the eggs. I'll join in your hatching thread if you dont mind, I'll just be hatching a week early and building the excitement lol.
