Coturnix quail chicks feathers

I imagine they're eating that corn which is really bad... They might be eating too much of the corn and not enough of the feed but your feed is not high enough in protein for brand new quail either.

Can you please remove a the cracked corn immediately. Can you post a picture of the game bird feed you have? Or a link to the exact product?

26 or 28 or 30...only.
I actually will only use 28 or 30% for my freshly hatched quail.
I am currently feeding the ones pictured above 28% protein.

Unfortunately feed store employees don't actually know what they're talking about... Most of the time.

Does it have the little guaranteed analysis tag on the bag still?

The feed may not be the problem. The corn for sure is part of the problem.
