Coturnix quail eggs day 16

I had 15 buttons at last count and one cortunix was starting to zipp I think its hard to see in the little windows

I thought 14 was it so I put them in the brooder but then another one popped out

its about time i finaly have chicks hatching i got 6 jumbo browns and 2 texas a&m and more on the way. they are so tiny

up to 23 chicks now. still have about 15 eggs in the bator. i have 3 that look like they are going to be A&Ms 3 that look yellow like the A&Ms but have little stripes down their backs and the rest look like browns. all i know is they are fast and it was hard to get a good count on them. keeping my fingers crossed for the other eggs.

The ones with stripes are probably Goldens, A&M's should be solid yellow.. with a black dot on the head sometimes.

Yep the yellow with stripes are Goldens

Cool, they feather out so pretty next to the browns.

ok final count is 28 chicks. cracked and tossed the remander of the eggs. one look liked it stoped right before pipping. and the others look like they all stoped about a week ago.. have moved them all to the brooder with food and water. . now what do i do with the empty bator. lol i got an idea more eggs
