I gave her the 1/2 tab and refilled her water dish. The rattle/gurgle has stopped but she is still breathing through her beak. It's in God's hands now.

Elvira survived the night

I want to thank everyone for their support. Elvira and I are now off to see the vet.

I think that vets are not supposed to give baytril to chickens anymore because of overuse of antibiotics causing "super bugs."

For chickens you have to get a vet RX for Baytril because of how it can affect people who may eat the bird.....

Glad she is still with us....best wishes at the vet.
